📝 REPORTING RULES: The Government has launched a consultation on the disclosure of the income of sellers on digital platforms such as Amazon and eBay. It’s part of an Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) initiative to ensure sellers pay taxes in their local jurisdiction. Spotted Stephen Waddington.

She shared a Facebook study showing the link between Instagram and poor mental health in teens. The platform also suffered two outages. Spotted Stephen Waddington.
⛑️ SAFETY TRIAL: Twitter is testing a safety feature that will warn users they are about to enter an intense conversation. Other initiatives are being tested to limit abuse on the platform including a feature that allows users to remove unwanted followers without officially blocking them. Spotted Deborah Wroe.
